Achemon Sphinx Moth Cocoon Fragment
This gorgeous cocoon came from a group of larvae I removed from my tomato garden one year and safely raised to adulthood and released. The empty cocoon is what was left behind when the adult Achemon sphinx moth emerged. I love the structure and amber color, such a beautiful piece of nature.
The cocoon will come inside a beautiful glass vial with a heavy brass cap.
Vial measures approximately 5/8” diameter, 2 1/2” tall.
