Oval Glass Dome with Pigeon Skull and Damselfly
The container for this piece is a miniaturized version of the stunning antique oval curiosity domes often used for natural curiosity arrangements.
I created this arrangement with a delicate pigeon skull (topped with labradorite pieces), a beautiful little damselfy with irridescent wings (decorated with a tiny carborundum crystal), dried plants and flowers (including lavender, linden, and silver brunia), peacock ore, amethyst crystals, pyrite, and mica flakes.
